Project Overview

Having worked with Winston Farm in the past, they approached us to help out with their re-branding project. We were tasked with creating a modern, simplistic logo and branding, which can then be developed throughout their sub-brands (Winston Farm Lodges, Winston Farm Christmas Trees and Winston Farm Pumpkin Patch). Using modern Sans Serif fonts, the 4 logos are tied together using the boxed frame, with each having their own identifiable illustrations. We kept the colour scheme very minimal for each logo, to ensure the 4 tie in together effectively.

With the new logo in place, we moved on to the client’s brand new website. They wanted a website that ties in each of their sub-brands into one, whilst at the same time keeping their individual identities. Their key focus though was to promote their new, luxury, canalside lodges, which they wanted to link up to Hoseasons for visitors to book their escape. Working closely with the customer, we turned this website around within a tight deadline. With Halloween and Christmas fast approaching, the aim was to promote their Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm in plenty of time to attract visitors from far and wide!

Wordpress Web Design

As with all of Now Web Design’s Website Builds, we have used WordPress CMS to create this sleek and modern website for Winston Farm. Our client now has the ability to easily update content when new events and promotions occur throughout the year, whether it be for the Pumpkin Patch or their Christmas Tree Farm. We have also added a blog area where our client can share exciting news with site visitors.

Winston Farm Website Design

Using photography provided by the client, we emphasised the luxury lodges throughout the website; as this was the main selling point for Winston Farm. Each unique lodge has it’s own page with links directly to Hoseasons to book their dream getaway. The website also shows off Winston Farm’s other areas; their Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch (new to 2019!), with countdowns to the events and their own galleries. Along with this, we have added in a Local Attractions Guide, a How To Find Us Guide, and a simple to use Contact form for visitors to get in touch.

Branding & Logo Design

Our client not only wanted 1 new logo, but 4 brand new logos! We started with the initial logo, which was the Winston Farm Logo. After supplying the client with various design options and directions, we settled upon a simplistic Sans Serif font with a thin box frame to finish.

Next came the logos for the client’s 3 sub-brands; Winston Farm Lodges, Winston Farm Christmas Trees and Winston Farm Pumpkin Patch. We seperated these 3 logos by creating unique, identifiable illustrations for each; one being the client’s previous design of the Christmas Tree, another being a sketch style illustration of a Pumpkin, and the lodge illustration showing the canalside element of the accomodation.

Final Logo Design

Our Client now has 4 identifiable logos which have since been used throughout their website and site signage for directing visitors to the farm. We chose colour palettes that compliment the respective brands; white, black, blue, green and orange. These colour schemes have also been used throughout the client’s website to keep brand consistency.

Logos Lost along the way

With every logo design and branding project, some of your favourite ideas will be lost along the way. It’s always best to present your client with a vast variety of directions and visions that suits their business and their brand.

Here are some of the logo’s that we didn’t move forward with in this process;

The Result

Our client now has a modern new logo and branding, represented consistently throughout their custom brochure website.
