Website Design Project
This project was put forward by Manchester based events company: Adored Events. Adored Events are a company with over 20 years experience in organising events/music festivals – celebrating the music and influence of the Manchester Music scene. By working closely with Adored Events (previously known as Manchester Adored), we created a website that fitted the clients needs and gave an atmospheric feel for the events they promote. We stuck closely with their brand and added a variety of graphics to the page layouts – from icons to background decorative graphics. The style and feel the client wanted was a more grungy, fun and bold look. To achieve this we focused on dark, contrasting colours that complemented the existing graphics.
Aside from the overall feel, we worked on some functional event blocks so that the client can add new events and easily direct customers to the relevant ticket pages for different events – the most important element for the client. These event blocks feature on different point of the website, so that as visitors explore, they are repeatedly shown the events that the client has coming up.
As with all of Now Web Design’s Website Builds, we have used WordPress CMS to create this loud and bold website for Adored Events. Our client now has the ability to easily update and promote events as they come and go through the year.

Using professional photography provided by the client, we emphasised the fun and loudness of the website atmosphere throughout the website; as the events are the biggest selling point for Adored Events. We needed to show off the fun and enticing feeling of booking a gig. To do this we featured an events page but also made sure to show events on the main home page.
The resulting website shows a lively atmosphere which conveys the energy of the events organised by the company; enticing visitors to exploring all that is to offer on the website. The direct nature of the user experience allows for a quick booking process for customers.
